Passive sustainable design means the rooms
are continuously shaded and are elevated
above the external corridors so that they can
be opened to the breeze and views while
privacy is maintained from passing guests
and staff.
Villas are elevated outside the courtyard as a
distinct destination with views and breezes.
The planning is limited by the 200m setback
from the beach with a Specilaity Restaurant
and Spa opening to the landscape below.
The Guestrooms are designed as a series
of spaces - timber-lined entry lounge for
socialising to the `street', high-ceiling bedroom
space with timber-lined bathroom and
separate dressing room beyond. All spaces
can be separated by concealed drapes.

All materials are locally sourced giving an
ambience and identity synonymous with its
immediate environment and culture.
This is reinforced by the local approach to
landscaping.
